Privacy policy
Who is responsible
Canary is operated by [LEGAL NAME], an individual entrepreneur registered in
Georgia, [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For any question about this policy or your data,
contact contact@jimapps.dev.
What Canary accesses
Canary is a monitoring tool. It reads status information in order to tell you when something has stopped working. Specifically:
- Account list — the identifiers and names of client accounts under your agency, so checks can be run against each one.
- Connection status — which social and profile integrations exist on each account, and whether their access tokens are valid or expired.
- Message delivery outcomes — counts and statuses of sent messages, used to detect a rise in failures.
- Access tokens — issued to Canary so it can perform the reads above.
- Domains you add — checked over public DNS and a standard TLS handshake.
- Your contact details — the email address or Slack channel alerts are sent to.
What Canary does not access
- Message content, conversations, or email bodies.
- Contact records, lead data, or customer personal information.
- Payment details or card data.
Canary holds read permissions only. It cannot post, send, modify settings or delete anything in your account.
Why
The sole purpose is to detect failures and notify you. Your data is not used to train models, build profiles, or generate analytics beyond what is shown in your own account. It is never sold and never shared with advertisers.
